Anyone else care to venture a guess?

One who had already graduated, we call him allumnus.Whoever still studies at the same school, we call him senior.As for elder classmate, it probably means the same thing as senior?!(not sure). .I wonder "elder" sould be interpreted into that we're classmate, but he's obviously older than me in "age" wise? However, I did sometimes see some people use this term, not common but you get what they meant.

The answer is not “elder classmate”. However, “older classmate” works.

alumni 是指校友，但你不能說 He's my alumni. 可以說 He's a fellow alumni. 或 He's a fellow alumnus. 雖然 alumni 是複數，alumnus 是單數，但現今的英文中，alumni 比 alumnus 更為普遍，不管是指複數還是單數，所以口語中，你可以都用 alumni，而文書中用正確的字。

The term "fellow alumni" seems to be limited to those who graduated in the same year. To refer to those who went to the same school no matter which year, it might be safer to say "alumni friend(s)".

Thank you for posting such an interesting question. While the answer here is perfectly correct, I wonder if the one choice would work well universally.For example, in college the word "senior" refers to the fourth year in the U.S., while "junior" refers to the third year. Besides that, the terms "senior" and "junior" don't seem to be commonly used in British English either. The term "classmates" as well might be confusing , since students in different years may attend the same class. It seems under different circumstances, the translation might be different.
