介系詞 的英文怎麼說?

介系詞 = preposition, 包括 above, through, on, inside, up, within, beside, down, below, in, at 等

事實上，這些字也稱為 particle，但不被稱為介系詞(但有些人稱之為特殊的介系詞)，因為 particle 是跟著動詞的，例如:

particle "up": He ran up the bill.

這裡的 ran up 是片語，意思是變大。

preposition "up": He ran up the hill.

這裡的 up 只是輔助 ran，表達往上跑的意思。
