管教 的英文怎麼說?

tell off 可說是「罵」或「責備」的最常用的說法，例如:

I got told off by my dad for lying. = 我說謊被爸爸責備。

teach, correct, discipline 都有責備、管教的意思，是正面的字，不是亂罵人的意思。rear 偏向養育孩子的意思。

not to be slack with somebody = 管教某人不能鬆，例如我出門請你管我兒子別吃零食，我回家後卻看到他在吃零食，就可跟你說 I told you not to be slack with him.
