第一句話裡面請問你是指 expend 還是 expand?

We have to expand more helpers. 聽起來不自然，如果你想表達 "我們需要更多幫忙我們的人" 可說 We need more helpers.

"No sooner had.." 裡面用 had 是正確的用法，因為後面銜接的事情一定是更早發生的，例如 No sooner had I arrived at the station than the bus came. 我先到車站，公車才來，所以用 had.
